Last October Scott and I spent our honeymoon in Paris. We had so much fun, obviously Paris is beautiful and full of tons of inspiration. We also ate… a lot. After a year of eating healthy(ish) to get wedding-ready, going crazy with pastries and sweets was awesome. And its a nice added bonus when food is beautiful! My favorite thing about macaroons in Paris was each shop had a slightly different color story with their macaroons – some natural, some understated pastels, and here at Gerard Mulot they were very saturated and vibrant. This color inspiration sets the stage for a wonderfully girly cocktail party, or a coffee & sweets crafty afternoon!
