Happy spring!
Yesterday marked the first day of spring, and I’m already looking forward to picnics and farmers markets.
I already own SO MANY reusable shopping bags. Aside from the fact that my mom usually uses them as gift bags, I just can’t resist a good tote bag – buying one or making one! This DIY using pom pom fringe (or really any trim you want) is a super quick upgrade to your favorite farmers market bag.
You will need…
tote bag
pom pom fringe in multiple colors
scissors
sewing pins
sewing machine/needle & thread
or hot glue gun
Let’s get started…
Cut fringe to the width of your tote bag and pin in place.
With your sewing machine, or needle and thread, attach the pom pom fringe to the tote bag.
You could also skip the sewing all together and just use hot glue.
Its that easy!
Now you’ve got a super cute tote bag that’ll stand out this spring. You could paint or stamp an image, or a monogram, to personalize the bag even further. Perfect teacher gifts! Or Mother’s Day!
